The real problem now is that anybody who is a JavaScript or typescript developer is very low quality. This is like that famous PG essay about Java being non-ideal for startups and something like python and lisp being better. Nowadays, if you are using typescript as a startup, you will get incredibly low quality developers, which means that anybody else who uses another language like rust or python will win out.
